About NetCheque

Our Mission

NetCheque was created to help Canadians understand their take-home pay. Whether you're negotiating a new salary, considering a job change, or just curious about how your deductions are calculated, our goal is to provide accurate, transparent estimates.

How It Works

Our calculator uses the official CRA T4127 Payroll Deductions Formulas — the same formulas that payroll software uses across Canada. We calculate:

  • Federal income tax — Based on your income and tax credits
  • Provincial/Territorial tax — For all 13 jurisdictions
  • CPP/QPP contributions — Including the enhanced CPP2/QPP2
  • EI premiums — With the reduced Quebec rate
  • QPIP premiums — For Quebec residents

All Provinces & Territories

We support every Canadian jurisdiction:

Privacy First

Your pay information never leaves your browser. All calculations happen locally on your device — we don't store or transmit your financial data. Learn more in our Privacy Policy.

Accuracy & Updates

We update our rates annually based on official publications from the CRA, Revenu Québec, and Service Canada. Our 2026 rates are current as of January 2026.

While we strive for accuracy, please remember that this calculator provides estimates only. Your actual paycheque may vary due to employer-specific deductions, rounding differences, or special tax situations.

Free Forever

NetCheque is free to use. We cover our hosting costs through non-intrusive advertising. We'll never charge for access or hide features behind a paywall.
